#MORETHANMEAN

Just not sports.

editor

This simple PSA encapsulates the most rewarding experience I’ve ever had as an editor and collaborator.

In the male dominated world of sports, the video’s goal was to showcase the abuse and misogyny female sports journalists receive online for merely doing their job. A video that took two brave sports reporters, a group of dudes, a few pizzas, and a Sunday afternoon to film would eventually lead to a viral video that garnered over 10 million views in a day, a hashtag that trended on twitter, front page on New York Times, segments on all major nightly news, and honors including a spot on the Cannes Shortlist, a Grand Clio, and a Peabody Award.

Jeff Tweedy

editor / colorist

I can’t say I’m really a Wilco fan, but this short doc I edited for TIDAL’s “In Conversation” series was pretty therapeutic and has a special place in my mind & heart.

At the time, my dog had just unexpectedly passed away and I was going through a pretty intense bout of depression and anxiety. Jeff Tweedy opened up his recording studio to us and allowed a candid interview about his career and mental health battles, which as a result, helped me through my own personal struggles.

Unfortunately the full video is only available to TIDAL subscribers, but here’s a short teaser that accompanied its release.

The Intersection of Analog & Digital

editor / colorist

This video is began as a passion project by my boss, Chad Cooper, and spotlights an audio engineer that designs and implements classic analog audio technology into digital products for today’s recording studios.

With our cultures current obsession with nostalgia, Chad’s aim is for an eventual series of video’s that explores the evolving relationship between analog and digital technologies through different industries and professionals.

In Bloom

Feature Film

editor / Post Production Manager

This film is the debut feature of my #1 collaborator and best friend.

We made this film in our last semester of college with a crowd funded $13,000 and eventually lead our director around the country and world to major Queer Film Festivals and a distribution deal where one cent of profit was never seen to any of the original cast or crew.

It was a great learning experience and even though we were young and naive, when I watch it now, I’m still proud of what we achieved.
